Point of Research and Some Basic Questions
- What do you want to be in the future?
In my youth, probably the primary school, all the classmates wanted to be scientists for boys and teachers for girls, and me included. When I am little older as teenager, I'd like to be police officer or something, kind of cool career. In my college, an excellent computer engineer was the ideal job in the future, while now I prefer to return to the "origin" as a scientist. It's kind of holy career, nothing to do with dirty mind and without any prejudice.
- Do you know what scientists do in their everyday work?
I guess, maybe doing some research, reading a lot about the latest discoveries and helping the students or PhD candidates to tackle problems.
- What are researches for?
Hard to say exactly. In my opinion, I tend to trust my intuition that researches are the key link to the future life, more comfortable and advanced. They aims at basic discoveries, among which one or two of them can change the wolrd some bit. So they are really worth doing.
