r - Bookdown 定义/描述列表？

Question

如何在 Bookdown 中实现定义/描述列表？我在一章的顶部有以下内容：

# Chapter 2

hello?

\describe{
  \item{Q_t(a)}{estimated value of action $a$ at time step $t$}
  \item{A_t}{action selected at time step $t$}
  \item{R_t}{reward at time step $t$}
}

在渲染的输出中，我只看到hello?输出，\describe...根本没有显示输出。

我也试过一个\begin{describe}...\end{describe}块，一个\begin{description}...\end{description}块，效果一样。

编辑- 明确一点：\describe{是特殊的 R 文档格式，\begin{description}是LaTeX，\begin{describe}是我四处寻找有用的东西。
