python - ImportError: cannot import name 'Type': python-telegram-bot

Question

I'm trying to run this simple example:

from telegram.ext import Updater, CommandHandler, MessageHandler, Filters

logger = logging.getLogger(__name__)

But I get the error:

ImportError: cannot import name 'Type'

on line

from telegram.ext import Updater, CommandHandler, MessageHandler, Filters

Before I've run

$ pip install python-telegram-bot --upgrade

once I had this error I tried

pip uninstall python-telegram-bot

and then

$ git clone https://github.com/python-telegram-bot/python-telegram-bot --recursive
$ cd python-telegram-bot
$ python setup.py install

but the error continued. I'm at the end of my ropes here.

PS Anyone can recommend any other Python Telegram lib?
