printing - How to create raspberry pi as printing proxy

Question

i would like to use my raspberry pi as a print proxy but i dont know how to do this. So my goal is that each print request to my printer will be catched by the raspberry. Afterwards the raspberry should add a standard text to the end of the document. If thats done the rapsberry should send the data to the printer. My first try was to use cups for that but i'm always getting the offset 0 error if i try to print from my mac. So does someone know how to do this? Thanks in advance
