visual-studio - Visual Studio: "Always show Error List if build finished with errors" does not w
问题描述
I'm on VS Pro 2019 v16.9.4, but I've had this problem with every edition of VS (Community, Pro, Enterprise) since at least 2017 on every computer I've used. What's supposed to happen is if this option is checked and a Build fails, it's supposed to show the Error List window. But this doesn't happen, even if it's currently docked. I have to manually open the Error List (View menu) to see the errors.
I have installed and reinstalled several versions of VS 2019 five times over the past 6 months on 3 computers, and it's still not working.
Is this just a bug in VS that has been around for years, or is there some additional option that needs to be set somewhere?
