web-scraping - WhatsApp message automation and web scraping

Question

I used a common WhatsApp account to send codes to WhatsApp users, and validate their numbers using 2fa, I spent a lot of time using web scraping to send these messages, but some time ago my account was blocked by WhatsApp, and it wasn't provided me a lot of details about the reason for the block, i deduced that the web scraping was the reason, now i'm using the twilio api, but considering the amount of users i have to validate it's not interesting, considering the currency of my country, the Twilio rates become unfeasible, question is: Is there any WhatsApp documentation related to messaging automation? Because I'm not sure if the blocking of my number really was due to a supposed misuse with automation, or another reason beyond my knowledge, I searched the Internet and didn't find much information about it.
